“Konstantin Emelyanov is such a tranquil superstar: there is no fashionable aggressiveness in him, but it is impossible to break away from his performance. “A bright head, a bright soul and unusual, caressing sounds. “
“Among the discoveries of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition is certainly the 25-year-old pianist Konstantin Emelyanov. He attracted attention with a cleverly composed program, an unconventional choice of compositions and harmonious interpretations in which technical stability was combined with open emotions, temperament was restrained by thought, and an intuitive sense of style made it possible to find a “golden mean” in each composition between his vision and author’s will. ”
